Two cultures.
One kitchen.
Abuelita's — meaning "grandmother's" — was born from a love of home cooking carried across the Atlantic. Our owner, originally from Guatemala, brought recipes passed down through generations: vivid moles, slow-braised birria, steamed tamales and hand-pressed corn tortillas.
In the heart of Lampeter, those recipes found a new home and new companions — the exceptional lamb and beef raised on the green hills of West Wales. The result is something genuinely new: food that honours both heritages without compromising either.
